LG G4 dual SIM dual LTE officially launched for Rs. 51K



LG today launched the LG G4 dual SIM with dual LTE support (both SIM slots support 4G) in India for Rs. 51,000. The G4 with 32GB is already available online for Rs. 47,685 – however that is with GSM + LTE support (only one SIM supports 4G) and the new one launched today is with LTE+ LTE support.
LG G4 is LG’s latest flagship model that houses the 1.8GHz qualcomm snapdragon 808 HEXA core 64 bit processor (dual core cortex A57 + quad core A53) coupled with Adreno 418 GPU. Android 5.1 sails out of the box (with UX 4.0 UI) with 3GB on-board RAM and 32GB ROM + there is micro SD card slot to add more storage.

LG4 is 9.8 mm thick and like the other LG G series handsets the buttons are placed on the rear. This handset sports a 5.5 inch screen with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. A 16MP AF camera with OIS and f/1.8 aperture lens is packed on the rear along with LED flash. The camera is using laser focus for fast and accurate focusing. There is a front camera too of 8MP resolution with f/2.0 aperture.

Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth. The G4 gets power from a 3000 mAh battery.
LG G4 though already available online / offline, this new G4 with dual SIM / dual LTE support will be available soon for Rs. 51,000.

LG G3 Stylus with 5.7 inch screen coming soon.

An official promo video revealed the LG G3 Stylus handset. The G3 Stylus sports a bigger as compared to the G3 and the G3 Beat and comes with a Stylus. As per reports the G3 Stylus will be a mid range phone, and will be cheaper than the LG G3.
The handset could be launched somewhere in Q3 2014. And another report stats that the Stylus handset will be powered by a quad core processor with 4G LTE support. Screen will be 5.7 inches with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. There will be 1GB RAM, 8GB storage, 1.3MP front camera and 8MP rear AF camera with flash. The specs however are not yet officially confirmed.
The G3 Stylus looks clearly like a downgraded version and the key highlight is the pen pushing stylus. It will be a budget smartphone probably looking to complete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The Galaxy Note 4 will be with a 5.7 inch screen with high end futures, finger scanner and more. Price wise LG would want to keep it cheaper that the Note 4.

LG G3 and LG G Watch launched in Mumbai

At an event in Mumbai, LG electronics launched their flagship model LG G3 in presence of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Big B actually walked through most of the key feature of G3. The Simple is the New Smart – i.e. the G3 is here starting from Rs. 47,990.

LG has also released special Limited edition G3 handset with Mr. Bachchan’s signature on the back. There are about 15,000 of these signed G3’s. A few lucky buyers will also get a chance to meet the legend (Big B). This handset is available in 3 color options.
The G3 houses a 2.5 GHz quad core processor qualcomm snapdragon 801. It runs KitKat 4.4.2 on a 5.5 inch screen with QHD resolution i.e. 2560 x 1140 pixels. You can get the handset with 2GB RAM + 16GB storage or 3GB RAM + 32GB storage.
Micro SD card is supported. I was invited for the event, the handset weight is 149 grams and is 8.9mm thick. It is a single SIM handset that supports 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS (GLONASS), infrared and micro USB.

It comes loaded with Smart Notice, Guest Mode, Smart keyboard and Knock Code. The camera is a lot improved it is 13MP with OIS+ sensors on the rear with instant focus using laser. There is a front camera of 2.1MP resolution. LG G3 comes with a 3000 mAh removable battery.
G3 with 16GB storage is priced at Rs. 47,990 and 32GB for Rs. 50,990. 32GB is available on Infibeam for Rs. 46,990.
On this occasion LG also launched the LG G Watch. It is powered by qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor, sports a 1.6 inch screen with 280 x 280 pixels. The screen is LCD IPS. This wearable watch runs Android Wear with 512MB RAM and 4Gigs of internal storage.

The watch works with android smartphones running OS 4.3 and over. Weight is 63 grams and there is Bluetooth, Gyro, Magnetic and accelerometer. It is available in White Gold and Black Titan color options. The dust and water resistant (IP67 certified) LG G Watch with a 400 mAh battery is priced at Rs. 14,999.

The LG G3 with 5.5 inch QHD and Laser AF for Rs. 46990
The LG G3 is finally here in India and as of now can be pre-booked online for a price tag of Rs. 46,990. This quad core powered handset comes with high end specs and with the unique killer feature the Laser auto focus technology for the sharpest and the brightest picture quality.
The G3 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat over the 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8975AC) quad core processor coupled with Adreno 330 GPU. If you choose the 16GB version it will come with 2GB RAM and with 32GB version you will get 3GB on board RAM.
The True IPS screen on the LG G3 is 5.5 inches with 2560 x 1400 (QHD – Quad HD) resolution. The handset weight with battery is 149 grams and is about 8.9mm thick. The G3 comes with 13 megapixel camera with OIS (Optical Image stabilizer) and multi auto focus with Laser technology.
Auto focus is all about distance and the key advantage of using the laser technology is that it works even in the dark, with this the camera can get accurate distance and capture quality images with minimal flash or low light. The shots are sharper and much brighter even in an almost dark room.


The rear camera with Sapphire crystal glass supports 9 point multi AF. It can shoot UHD videos and 120HD slow motion videos. There is 2.1MP camera on the front too.
Key features are LTE (4G), 3G, 2G, GPS, NFC, HDMI support via Slim port, TV out using Slim port + Miracast and DLNA. The battery of 3000 mAh capacity (li-ion) gives talk time of up to 21 hours.
LG G3 (16GB storage / 2GB RAM) can now be pre-booked online from Infibeam for a price tag of Rs. 46,990 and will be available on 25th July.
